CareerAlert24 Insight

The most important point in this recruitment is that Laboratory Assistant-cum-Storekeeper eligibility is tied to the respective practical subject. A general Bachelor’s Degree alone is not enough. Candidates should match their Honours subject with the subject-wise vacancy before applying.

The recruitment also requires careful attention to district and post preferences. The Board will make allocation on the basis of merit, the preference submitted by the candidate and vacancy availability. Since the submitted preference is final and binding, candidates should not select districts or posts casually.

Preparation should also account for the 150-mark written test with negative marking. Candidates should use the official syllabus rather than relying only on general laboratory assistant preparation material.
