Who Can Apply Under GDCE?

Educational Qualification Depends on the Post
Nursing Superintendent
Applicants must have either:

- B.Sc. Nursing.
The qualification must be from a recognised institution as prescribed in the notification.
Health & Malaria Inspector Grade II
Candidates need:
- B.Sc. with Chemistry as the main or optional subject, and
- A one-year Diploma in Health/Sanitary Inspector, or
- A one-year National Trade Certificate in Health Sanitary Inspector awarded by NCVT.
Commercial cum Ticket Clerk
Candidates need:
- 12th (+2 Stage) or equivalent, with at least 50% aggregate marks.

The standard duration is 90 minutes, with the applicable additional time for eligible PwBD candidates using a scribe.
The syllabus includes topics such as number systems, percentages, ratio and proportion, time and work, profit and loss, elementary algebra, geometry, coding-decoding, series, analytical reasoning, syllogism, data interpretation and general awareness.
Negative Marking and Qualifying Marks
The CBT has 1/3 negative marking for every incorrect answer.
